Hoi An has a rich ancient architectural blend of Chinese, European, Japanese and Vietnamese from the sixteenth century. Some memorial homes worth looking at are the homes of the descendants of Chinese merchants, these 200-year-old homes are filled with astounding collection of antiques and family remembrance. There is also a Chinese Assembly Hall representing the crossroad of civic and spiritual life in the ethnic Chinese community.
Marked as a UNESCO's World Heritage in 1999, Hoi An is now on the tourists’ agenda. Spend a day sightseeing as well as enjoy some of Hoi An’s mouthwatering traditional dishes. For longer trips, tourists can spend it at the Cham ruins of My Son or just enjoy a sampan ride down the Thu Bon River.
